Unity Family Healthcare is a unique, multi-facility organization serving the health care needs of the people of Morrison County and the surrounding area of Central Minnesota through its six entities—St. Gabriel’s Hospital, St. Otto’s Care Center, St. Camillus Place, Alverna Apartments, Randall Lakes Area Clinic and Albany Area Hospital & Medical Center.
Our mission calls us to a ministry of healing that combines high tech procedures and equipment with personalized care framed in our core values of reverence, integrity, compassion and excellence. Founded by the Franciscan Sisters of Little Falls, Unity Family Healthcare is now sponsored by Catholic Health Initiatives—a national organization committed to the rural health care ministry.

The Mission of St. Gabriel’s Hospital, St. Camillus Place, Alverna Apartments, and Albany Area Hospital & Medical Center, is to nurture the healing ministry of the Church by bringing it new life, energy and viability in the 21st century.

Laboratory
Under the supervision of a licensed pathologist, our laboratory performs tests, vital to diagnosis and treatment for both inpatients and outpatients.
Critical Care
In cases of more serious illness, our critical care unit's highly skilled professional staff provides continual care and attention, keeping close watch over your recovery.
Emergency Services
Because an accident can happen at any time, we provide emergency service around the clock. Our emergency department is staffed by a team of skilled nurses, support personnel and physicians. In cases of extreme trauma, air and ground ambulance services are available to provide prompt transportation to trauma centers in urban areas.
Spiritual Care
Complete spiritual and emotional care is available to all patients, families, and friends through our spiritual care program. Our chaplains will visit patients upon request and arrange for patients to see their own pastors.
Radiology
Our radiology department performs diagnostic services 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Available services include x-ray, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, mammography, magnetic resonance imagery (MRI), and body section radiography (CT Scans).
Home Care
Skilled nurses, home health aides, physical therapists and occupational therapists provide 24-hour care in a growing home care program.
Family Services
Discharge planning, home care, and follow-up assistance are all available to help people access the resources which enable them to return to an independent lifestyle.
Pharmacy
A full-service pharmacy, staffed by registered pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, is located on campus to dispense medications to all hospital departments.
Respiratory Care
Respiratory therapists and specially trained personnel administer diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory services to our patients. Services include oxygen administration, respiratory treatments, sleep studies, and stress and other tests.
Hospice
Our Medicare-certified hospice program helps families manage end-of-life-decisions. We combine the benefits of modern medicine with the dignity of the natural dying process, connecting people who are terminally ill with their loved ones in a warm and friendly environment. Our hospice team brings together your family members, physicians, specially trained hospice nurses, and other health care workers with spiritual counselors, social workers and pastors, to provide care that is truly holistic.
Occupational Health
Work site assessments, evaluations, pre-employment screenings and a whole range of services are offered to business clients and individuals through our occupational health department.
Education
Our education programs help people prevent future illness by learning to make healthy lifestyle choices today. Our goal is to serve as the health care resource for the community.
