Description
  • Responsible for all daily activities for a funeral home
  • Provide leadership of funeral home staff to accomplish goals and objectives while working within company guidelines
  • Responsible for daily delivery of goods and services to at- need families
  • Responsible for daily on-the-job training for all funeral home staff
  • Review and monitor all employees’ performance
  • Recruit and hire new employees based on company standards
  • Select and purchase all necessary material for operations within budgetary guidelines using approved vendors
  • Prepare and manage all fiscal budgets in accordance with company procedures
  • Approve customer discounts within company guidelines
  • Participate in community and civic organizations
  • Increase call volume by company standards
  • Any other task as assigned by the General Manager
    • Requirements
  • Management or Supervisory experienced preferred
  • Must be Licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer (or ability to become licensed) in Arkansas
  • At least 5 years in the funeral industry
  • Good organizational, communication and customer service skills
  • Detail oriented, Self-starter
  • Motivation and drive to grow the business
  • Must be willing to work some weekends and evenings
